Let me take a moment to introduce myself.
My name is Karen Smith, I have been a personal trainer/strength coach since 1999. It is my desire to help you reach your true strength potential. I am currently a Masters SFG instructor and Chief SFB instructor with STRONGFIRST, as well as contributor and advisory board member with GIRLS GONE STRONG. As a child I enjoyed movement, anything active especially cheerleading and gymnastics. The love of these things are what brought me to training. I enjoy helping other people set and reach their goals. I started my personal training career in La Jolla, CA and continued it in DC after the military moved us from the west coast to the east coast. After yet another military move in 2008 to Virginia Beach, I opened my own Personal Training Studio which I had from 2009 – 2014. After getting promoted into Leadership, I began traveling the world teaching workshops and certifications which took me away from the gym pretty regularly. I had a great crew of instructors who kept the business flowing. In 2014, I decided to make the move back to Texas to be closer to my family. While I loved Virginia Beach, miss my students and best friends dearly, I wanted my daughter to get to see her extended family more frequent. The past two years I have been spent traveling 2-3 weekends of every month spreading the STRENGTH message. There are a few avenues for you to follow if you are interested in my training/coaching all of which I will list below.

— If you are interested in receiving regular content (daily workouts, exercise tutorials etc.) then my COACHING CORNER is a great option for you. For less than a $1.00 a day, you have workouts assigned for each day. I will be adding new features, one I am currently building is an Exercise Library for you to reference and learn. This library will be PRIVATE and only available to my Coaching Members
–Distance Coaching / Program Design:
I limit the number of students I work with at any given time in order to provide each with the most attention needed to coach and guide them toward reaching their goals. If you should decide that you are interested in becoming one of my distance coaching students, I write the program according to your goals, available equipment and your schedule. If you are interested in more details or getting on the Wait List for becoming a coaching student. Please message me at: email@example.com
–Private/Semi Private Training sessions: If you happen to be in the Dallas area, I do a few Personal training session per week when not traveling. These session can be weekly or random if you are needing me to help you prepare for a goal, certification, competition or even re-hab from an injury and regain your strength.
–Workshop / Courses / Certifications:
All events that I teach will be listed under the calendar tab. I hope to meet you all in person in the future at one of these events.
When not traveling and teaching, my time is spent with my daughter and bringing you content via all the outlets mentioned above. Thank you as always for your loyalty. I appreciate you all dearly.
