PUSH UP Progression Series – Step 1
Today starts the tutorial series to strengthen your PUSH UP
These videos will help you no matter what level you are starting at. Maybe you’re justing getting back to working out or have never done a tricep/close grip push up Or you have been doing Pushups for years and you are ready to venture into the world of OAPU or OAOLPU….One Arm or One Arm One Leg push ups take lots of practice and strength. We will be starting with the Plank position and shoulder alignment.
It is very important to have a solid STURDY base before you start moving. In this first video you will see the proper alignment for your shoulders.
- Narrow your hands until they are about shoulder width apart
- Make sure your shoulders are stacked over your elbows and also over your wrist if doing straight arm planks.
- Remember the tension that you should have in your body…no sagging backs or high rising hips.
