Today I wanted to give you a few tips as we finish out this week…..
1. Enjoy your weekend and think about moderation in all areas of your nutrition. You should not always feel as if you are in a cycle of diet…binge…deprived…diet…binge. Hope you get my point!! Find what works for you and make it a life style. Plan your weeks meals and leave a space for something you love. Think about making your life style more 80%/20%…..80% CLEAN/HEALTHY eating and 20% what you love in moderation 🙂 This will help keep you on track.
2. Exercise should be FUN!! Find what you enjoy most and for added motivation find FRIENDS or TRAINING PARTNERs who love the same things you do. Push each other when one is not feeling at their best. STRENGTH IN NUMBERS!
3. Add a new skill to work on to keep you focused on your GOAL. Today I rec’d an email asking “What is STACKED pressing?” So here is one example of how to add a new skill that will still keep you on track with your goal. So lets just say your goal is to increase your strength in the Military Press. Stacked pressing will give you the same but different effect. You will still be working the press groove, but now you will be adding additional grip strength work. Check out the video and see what I am talking about.
